Editor's Introduction

Septet published articles that aim to advance knowledge of the interdisciplinary connections between the domains of the arts, humanities and social sciences.
The languages of the journal are  English, French, German, Spanish and Turkish. Manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail in DOC format and sent to the Editor,  FIONA GAIL TOMKINSON, fgtomkinson@yahoo.co.uk, and to the Assist. Editor, MEDIHA GÖBENLI, gobenli@yeditepe.edu.tr. Authors should send two copies of their articles, one of them in a form suitable for double blind refereeing, i.e. with all references to the author, the author’s institution, and bibliographical references to texts by the author removed. A short biographical note about the author (ca. 200 words) should also be included.
All manuscripts should be original in content and not published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Submissions are subject to the process of peer review. All manuscripts will be reviewed by the Advisory Board of Septet, comprising representatives from all departments in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yeditepe University. If considered suitable, manuscripts will then be sent to international expert professionals in the disciplines concerned for refereeing.
Authors should follow the recommendations of The Chicago Manual of Style (15th edition, 2003). In addition, authors should use footnotes instead of endnotes and should use Harvard style for referencing texts (author year of publication, page number).
